Can we schedule a consultation or phone call before booking?
Absolutely! This is completely up to you.
When will I receive my full gallery?
Please allow up to 6-12 weeks for your final gallery to be completed. You may receive your photographs sooner than this timeframe, wedding season is always busier!
Do you offer pre-wedding/engagement shoots?
Yes, I offer pre-wedding shoots for £175. This is a 1 hour session. Travel is included up to 20 miles from DE22.
How many photos will I get?
I carefully go through the best photographs that tell the story of your day from start to finish and edit these to match my style. There is no minimum or maximum. Below is a rough guide of what you could expect to receive (based on each package)
The Short Story: 250
The Full Story: 500-600
The Complete Story: 600-700
Do you have insurance?
Yes - I have public liability insurance and indemnity insurance and can share my certificates with your venue if needed.
Do you have backup equipment?
Yes! I shoot on two cameras on the day and also for extra peace of mind, both cameras I use shoot onto dual cards simultaneously, which ensures two copies of each image. I also have a spare camera body, spare lenses and always bring plenty of batteries and SD cards.
What happens if you're unwell on our wedding day?
I haven't yet been in this position thankfully!
In the unlikely event, I will do my absolute best to try to find a photographer with a similar style to myself as a replacement.
If you book my Complete Story Package, the second photographer would shoot your wedding day and I would try to find a replacement second photographer or refund the difference in the packages.
If this is not possible then you would receive a full refund.
Can you change your editing style to match what we want?
I’m afraid not, when you book me, you’re also booking my signature style. It’s important to remember that your wedding photos will reflect my consistent editing approach. While I use the same colour grading across all weddings, factors like your venue, colour scheme, and the lighting/weather and even the season you're getting married in can influence how my style appears in your final gallery.
If you're curious about how my style might look at your venue, feel free to send me an email. I’d be more than happy to share images from weddings with a similar setting or colour palette. And if I’ve photographed at your venue before, I’d be glad to send over some photographs for you to browse through.
What is your style?
I focus on delivering a documentary style of photography capturing your day as it happens. The photographs I take tell the story & show the emotions of your day.
As well as this, I do still capture those special family portraits and gorgeous couples photos as I recognise this is important too. Taking the intimate couples photographs is one of my favourite parts of the day, to be honest…a lot of my couples have said it’s the most peaceful part of their day!
I love to incorporate an editorial flare into some of my work.
